On May 5 the cafe-bar Gazio run by Susumu Hirasawa’s older brother, Yuuichi (pictured above in a photo by Magazoff) opened for business in Tsukuba, Ibaraki Prefecture. Pevo #1 and Masami Orimo were among the many people who attended its pre-opening party late last month, and Mr. Hirasawa himself made an appearance via Skype. The menu features both alcoholic and non-alcoholic cocktails named after various Hirasawa songs. The cafe’s music playlist is available here.
